Graduation Day is a proud day for all of us, and a chance to celebrate all that our students have achieved throughout their two years at Al-Ameen. And even a greater moment of pride for us to know that our budding students are going to shine like stars, not just career wise but as good human beings. We are keen to make the day a special one, and ensure that our students have happy memories of their graduation day for years to come.
The Graduation Day ceremony commenced with the recitation of Quran by Dr.Mohammed Wajid, faculty. Dr. B A Anuradha, Principal in her address welcomed the distinguished & erudite guests, spoke about the academic achievements of the students and the institution. She advised the students to remember Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam’s saying that “Where there is righteousness in the heart, there is beauty in the character. When there is beauty in the character, there is harmony in the home. When there is harmony in the home, there is order in the nation. When there is order in the nation, there is peace in the world” & advised the MBA graduates to strike work life balance in their lives.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Ahmedali is a Human Resources Management veteran with over five decades of experience and is the MD of CORNUCOPIA Pvt., Ltd., a HR Consulting Company. He was impressed by the tremendous work done by Al-Ameen and asked the students to be proud of the rich heritage given by the institute and carry forward the legacy. He asked the students to build their careers with not only high values but to adapt themselves, work hard & smart, upskill oneself regularly, learn new technology and inculcate ethical values at all times.
His takeaway for the students was a) Cultivate a sense of urgency, b) have sound judgment, c) SpeaknSpark to get things done, d) cultivate concern for people, e) develop a sense of humor f) Learn new technology, g) Dream big h) always remember that there is no substitute for hard work. He wished all the students the Best in Life.
Mr. Umar Ismail Khan, Chairman, Al-Ameen Educational Society presided over the programme. He spoke about the growth of Al-Ameen & the new facilities provided in the past three years, he praised the dynamic qualities of the Hon.Secretary, Mr.Zubair Anwar is steering Al-Ameem to a new direction and applauded the efforts & leadership qualities of the Principal, Dr. B. A. Anuradha. He congratulated the students & their parents for their success. He told the students that as you take your next steps; remember that you are the ambassadors of Al-Ameen around the globe. So have a positive outlook, a good sense of judgment, be consistent, be disciplined, work hard, be honest, truthful & humble, take care of your health, pray regularly & ask for Allah’s guidance since God runs the world and lastly cultivate a sense of sharing & love for people & all the creations of God because Being Good Human Beings & Taking Care of the Family is the most important aspect & a cornerstone for a successful & fulfilling life.
Dr. C Manohar, Chairman, ISTD, Bangalore Chapter, Guest of Honour highlighted five key attributes necessary for success in today’s world viz.,
He asked the students to uphold the rich legacy of Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies; utilize the skills, knowledge & values gained from your alma mater; excel in the corporate world and contribute to the society.
Oath taking ceremony administered by the Principal was followed by distribution of certificates and mementos to the graduating students by the dignitaries and Academic Toppers were also felicitated on the occasion.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Zubair Anwar, Hon. Secretary, Al-Ameen Educational Society graced the occasion.
Mr. Mohammed Ziauddin, Vice Chairman, Al-Ameen Educational Society; Mr.Zafrulla Khan and Mr. Syed Ahmed, Executive Council members were also present.
Vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal, Mr. Abdul Rizwan Shariff who conveyed his heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation for sharing their thoughts, experiences & words of wisdom by the guests and for the unstinted support, encouragement and guidance by the Chairman, Hon. Secretary & the Principal. He also thanked the organizers for making the event a success. Cultural programmes were also organized.
