Workshop on “Critical Thinking and Innovation Design”Convocation

The Ministry of Education, Innovation Cell has designed a successful IIC model for HEIs to promote Innovation & Entrepreneurship amongst the students and faculty in order to create a benchmarking ecosystem which is flexible, provides handholding, incentive oriented and provides a decentralized way of operation. This facilitates in plan implementation, organized structure and innovation features along with collaborative opportunities.

Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies, Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy and Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College jointly organized a one-day workshop on “Critical Thinking and Innovation Design” on 11th Jan 2023 in association with MOE’s Innovation Cell, AICTE & IIC and in collaboration with Skilleit Ed-Tech-Startup for a brainstorming – racking up ideas game based entrepreneurship programme.

The Inauguration commenced with recitation of Qirath, Dr. Md. Salahuddin, Principal, Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy delivered the welcome speech, Dr. Salma Khanum, R & D Director, Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy gave a brief introduction about IIC, Mr. Umar Ismail Khan, Chairman, Al-Ameen Educational Society presided over the workshop while Dr. B. A. Anuradha, Principal, Al-Ameen Institute of Management Studies & Dr. P Sartaj Khan, Principal, Al-Ameen Arts, Science & Commerce College spoke on the importance of Out-of-the-box Thinking & Innovation.

Mr.Kunnwar Vijay Parmar & Ms.Ritu Srivaastava, Co-Founder’s of M/s.Skilliet Ed-Tech Startup conducted the workshop which was mainly a group activity where students proposed plenty of new ideas to solve a given problem. The students were encouraged to state every idea, irrespective of how varied or diversified it was. During the session all the analogies, variants and oppositions were carefully noted by the students. The highlight of the workshop was Problem Solving, Ideation, Design Thinking, Critical Thinking & Innovation Design. At the end of the workshop, Mr.Kunnwar Vijay Parmar appreciated the ideas put-up by the students and their potential.

Certificates were given to the participating students and the guests were felicitated. Dr. Mubeen Ghani, Vice-Principal, Al-Ameen College of Pharmacy proposed the vote of thanks.
