Extension Activities
We took part in the Tree Plantation Drive, under Green Bangalore initiative organized by
Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and the Government of Karnataka, in collaboration with
various NGOs like SayTrees and Citizen Groups on 27th June 2026 to commemorate the birth
anniversary celebrations of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda. A record breaking 15 lakh native saplings
were planted in a single day by around 50,000 volunteers across designated layouts and
ecological zones in a single day
A Guest Lecture was organize d in association with ICMR- NIMHANS, Bangalore on “Mental Wellbeing
& Suicide Risk Reduction” by Dr. Lekshmi Vimala on 8th April 2026.
“International Women’s Day” was celebrated in Association with Karnataka Management Association
& Indian Society for Training & Development, cherishing women's achievements, resilience, and
equality, highlighting their crucial, often underestimated roles in society as a mother, a
daughter and a wife on 9th Mar 2026. On the occasion awards were given away to 16 women
achievers for their intellectual accomplishments, contribution to the society, leadership & as a
source of inspiration for future generations.
A Self-Defence Training Session by Grand Master Detlef Tulnau, a prominent German martial arts
expert recognized for his leadership in kickboxing and Muay Thai, specifically serving as a key
figure in the International Kick Boxing Federation (IKBF). This session was organized by
Al-Ameen Educational Society on 6th Feb 2026 with focus on students Empowerment, Practical
Safety Techniques & Discipline Tips and capacity building.
“A Cancer Awareness Programme & Walkathon” was organized in association with SRV Agadi
Hospital, Bangalore on Tuesday, 3rd Feb 2026. After the formal ceremony the walkathon was
officially flagged off by Mr.Umar Ismail Khan, Chairman, Al-Ameen Educational Society along with
other dignitaries from Agadi Hospital from our Society campus on Hosur Road, winding through the
city to SRV Agadi Hospital campus at Wilson Garden. The rally featured 400 participants, who
wore symbolic masks and carried placards to highlight that informed conversations and community
support are the strongest weapons against the disease.
World AIDS Day was observed on 5th Dec 2025 to create Awareness among students about HIV/AIDS
and its prevention.
A Seminar was organized in Collaboration with the Bangalore City Police to create Awareness on
Women and Children Safety, Anti-Narcotic Activities, Cyber Crime, and Traffic Awareness on 1st
Dec 2025.
A Blood Donation Camp was organized in collaboration with Rotary, Bangalore; TTK Blood Centre
and BMST (Bangalore Medical Services Trust) on 15th Oct 2025.
A Thyroid Testing Camp was organized on 27th Sep 2025 in Association with Abott India Pvt., Ltd.
A Drug De-Addiction Programme was conducted by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration
with the Sufi Islamic Board on 24th Sep 2025.
A Social & Rural Immersion Program 2025 was organized on 15th, 16th & 17th of Sep 2025 in
collaboration with LetsTagOn in our commitment to nurture socially responsible leaders who
combine professional excellence with strong values and ethics. With a holistic approach to
education, we emphasize on socio-economic awareness, environmental consciousness, and civic
responsibility as integral to the development of our students.
A Personality Effectiveness and Grooming Workshop for Girls was organized by Right Side Stories
in Partnership with Procter & Gamble (P&G) on 1st Sep 2025. The workshop provided an empowering
experience to our girl students to prioritize safety and well-being to ensure personal &
professional growth simultaneously. The resource person was Ms.Tanu Shree, a Psychologist & a
Youth Wellbeing Trainer from Right Side Stories.
A Free Medical Camp for Employees and General Public by Healthfree.in on 11th Aug 2025.
An Anti Ragging week was observed from 12th to 18th August 2025. On 13th Aug 2025 Advocate N.
Rajanna, a practicing advocate in Bangalore since the past 26 years was invited to create an
awareness on “The Legal Consequences of Ragging & Remedies for the Victim”. Slogan writing,
essay writing, poster making & signing of Anti-Ragging undertaking forms by the parent/guardians
were the different activities taken up during the week to create awareness. Apart from this, an
Interactive Session on Empathy, Inclusivity and a Sense of Community by Minhaj Sahar a IV
Semester MBA student on 23rd Aug 2025.
An Eye Check-up Camp was conducted by Divya Jyoti Nethralaya, an eye care centre in Basavangudi
on 28th Apr 2025.
A Blood Donation Camp was conducted by St. Maratha’s Hospital Blood Centre, Bangalore on 16th
Apr 2025

“International Women’s Day” was celebrated on 8th March 2025. On the occasion, “Al-Ameen Women
Achievers’ Award 2025” was distributed to four distinguished women trailblazers for breaking the
societal barriers and inspiring changes in society through their work. The awardees were (1) Ms.
Sara Fathima, IPS & DCP of South East Division, Bengaluru and holds quite a few accolades &
accomplishments to her credit having served as SP, CID Bangalore and being honored with the
Hon’ble Chief Ministers Medal in 2014; (2) Ms.Nahida Zamzam, KAS and Registrar, Tumkur
University; (3) Ms.Shabeena Sultana, Hon. Consul of the Republic of Tunisia & (4) Dr. Asima
Banu, Dean & Director of Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute

organized for I & III Sem MBA students on 23rd Jan 2025.
“Breast Cancer Awareness Month” was observed on 27th Oct 2024 by inviting Dr. Mohammed Naseer
R, MD & DM, Consultant Medical Oncologist from Health Care Global (HCG). Dr. Mohammed Naseer R
is a highly trained & renowned expertise in Paediatric Haemato Oncologist, he has handled more
than 3000 cases and is a recipient of the Torrent Young Scholar Award (TYSA) Zonal Round Winner.

Al-Ameen Group of Institutions launched “Awareness Drive on Crime Prevention” in collaboration
with Karnataka Police Department and Bengaluru City Police Department at Al-Ameen Educational
Campus on 20th Dec 2023 as a part of the Crime Prevention Month.

A Rural Immersion Programme in association with LetsTagOn, an NGO founded by an IIM(A) Graduate
was organized to Jalige, a small village near Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru on 14th June 2023.
The students got an exposure to the social, rural and grassroots development challenges; rural
administration; awareness on sustainability; comprehensive study on the rural livelihood
challenges through practical field experience as well as opportunities to deal with real world
problems through management techniques learnt in classrooms. The students also visited a
Government School and spoke on the ‘Excessive use of Plastic which is creating havoc on the
planet and how to reduce, reuse and recycle it’; Grape Fruit Farm & Dragon Fruit Farm to
understand commercial crops and market conditions prevailing; Gram Panchayat which provided
real-life learning & intense societal engagement, under different situations; Gram Panchayat
Library; Poultry Farm & Milk Dairy which facilitated in understanding supply chain management of
dairy products.

A Social Immersion Programme was conducted in association with LetsTagOn founded by an IIM(A)
Graduate to provide experiential & impactful immersive experience through exposure to
communities & social causes on 4th & 5th May 2023. This programme is aligned to the Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) as set by the United Nations.
International Women’s Day on 8th Mar 2023. Dr. B. A. Anuradha, Principal presided over the
function while Dr. H. R. Sudha, Principal, Al-Ameen College of Education was the Guest of
Honour.
An outbound learning adventure program was arranged to Eagles Unbound Adventure Park, Bengaluru
to provide a platform for self discovery & self development through adventure activities while
inculcating a love for the outdoor activities & sports on 28th Feb 2023 for our BBA students &
on 7th Mar 2024 for our MBA students.
As a gesture of support to the “Parliament Chalo” massive movement initiative on 14th Feb 2023
against the present socio-economic problems our staff contributed a sum of Rs.2,500 & Al-Ameen
Institute of Management Studies contributed Rs.3,000 to the All India Mahila Samskritik
Sanghatan and its Karnataka State Committee for raising awareness on issues, hurdles &
atrocities faced by women & children.
Awareness on “Inequalities faced by Girl Child” was initiated to carry forward the Ministry of
Women and Child Development, Government of India’s initiative by observing National Girl Child
Day on 24th Jan 2023.
Under Puneet Sagar Abhiyan our NCC cadets organized a campaign against “Plastic Pollution” by
collecting plastic waste from Lalbagh Botanical Garden on 12th Jan 2023.
