SWAYAM is a programme initiated by Government of India and designed to achieve access, equity and quality – the three principles of the Education Policy. Swayam seeks to bridge the digital divide for students who have hitherto remained untouched by the digital revolution and have not been able to join the mainstream of knowledge economy so that they are exposed to the best of Teaching Learning resources. MOOC provides an affordable & flexible way to learn new skills, advance ones career and provides quality educational experiences at scale.
As per the MHRD directive, 19 of our III semester MBA students and 27 of our I semester MBA students have enrolled in different online courses offered by SWAYAM – Massive Open Online Courses - MOOC platform which comprises of 4 quadrants viz.,
Steps have been taken to enrich the learning experience by using audio-video, multi-media and state of the art pedagogy / technology.
