Al-Ameen Educational Society was invited to be a part of the Consultation Meeting for National Curriculum Framework held at IISc campus, Bangalore chaired by Dr.Kasturirangan, Chairman, NSC & NCF on 28th June 2022 where the National Steering Committee & National Curriculum Framework Committee interacted with Nine Educational Institutions as envisioned by the government’s National Education Policy 2020.
The main focus is to develop a holistic approach to education by introducing higher order Skill Development amongst the students and at the same time achieve Excellence in Learning & Teaching.
On 17th Dec 2022, a Skill Development Certification Convocation was organized and certificates were given to the students who completed “Business Analytics” & “Entrepreneurship” courses.
Dr. B. A. Anuradha, Principal welcomed & introduced the guests and emphasized upon “Business Analytics” & “Entrepreneurship” skill sets as the need of the hour for the graduating MBA students and in this regard MOU’s were inked with Vision Digital India, Knowledge Delivery partner for IBM & Monk’s Learning Lab. Mr.Zubair Anwar, Hon. Secretary, Al-Ameen Educational Society, Bangalore presided over the function. Ms. Kavitha Gowda, K.A.S, Executive Director, Karnataka Skill Development Corporation was the Chief Guest while Dr. Sireesha Reddy, Founder Chairman, GSR Eduwizer; Dr. Hari Krishna Maram, Chairman, Vision Digital India and Dr. Preeti Adhav, Founder-CEO, Monk’s Learning Lab were the Guests of Honour.
Mr.Zubair Anwar, Hon. Secretary, Al-Ameen Educational Society said that focus on Skill Development is the only way forward & a trend at Al-Ameen. With technology taking an upsurge, innovation plays a pivotal role to boost economy. Since most of the students at Al-Ameen are from a business background, providing value added skill oriented courses increases students’ employment opportunities not just in India but across the continent.
The present generation has access to more information and unlimited resources, utilizing this advantage to develop & hone their skills and following once passion is crucial & a gratifying experience said the Chief Guest, Ms. Kavitha Gowda.
The Guests of Honour, Dr. Hari Krishna Maram, & Dr. Preeti Adhav spoke about “Success” - often requiring countless hours of hard work, honing & building of skills, bringing about innovation and adapting to learning as a continuous process. Life stories of stalwarts such as Narayana Murthy & Elon Musk who have made a mark for themselves, creating pathways & left an everlasting impression on everyone should be taken as an inspiration by the youngsters to develop a mindset to bring about a positive change in the society.
Dr. Preeti Adhav, applauded the efforts of our MBA students, especially Maqsood Khan, Syed Abdul Khadir & Thouseef Pasha for having executed exceptionally excellent “Business Plans” through innovation, creative ideas & detailing. Dr. Sireesha Reddy took up the responsibility to support these three budding entrepreneurs in terms of lending financial support to ensure that their dream Business Plan turns into a reality.
