It is important to embrace the true meaning of freedom, liberation, unity & diversity. By spreading the spirit of patriotism, we can inspire & inculcate in our youth to appreciate the value of being free and encourage a sense of belonging to our great nation.
At Al-Ameen it was a glorious and auspicious occasion as we celebrated Independence Day on 15th Aug 2023. Mr. Uday B Garudachar, MLA and Chief Guest hoisted the flag amidst a gathering of Executive Council Members, Principals, Staff and Students.
Our NCC students presented the Guard of Honour and our students put up a colourful array of cultural programmes reflecting the country’s history and depicting the bravery and sacrifices made by the freedom fighters.
Mr. Umar Ismail Khan, Chairman, Al-Ameen Educational Society presided over the function and Mr. Zubair Anwar, Hon. Secretary, Al-Ameen Educational Society delivered the keynote address, where he reminded the students to acknowledge the bountiful resources our nation possesses and strive to utilize them wisely for a brighter future. We are proud that Indians are successful around the world, hold top notch positions, and key players in the economic development; but now it is time that we cash upon this pool of talent to enrich our country’s resources, boost our economy and reach for the stars.
As Rabindranath Tagore said “Where the mind is without fear and the head held high; Where knowledge is free; Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls; Where words come out from the depth of truth; Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection; Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit; Where the mind is led forward by Thee into ever-widening thought and action; Into that heaven of freedom, O Lord, let my country awake”
